spreading god's fame by making disciples of all people

We have completed Collide Mission Trips for 2018. God moved in the lives of our students and the people that we encountered locally, nationally, and internationally! Stay tuned for more info on Missions coming in 2019!

Each Spring Break we take a trip to New Orleans to partner with local organizations to Spread God’s Fame. We explore this beautiful city while ministering to homeless, serving in soup kitchens, area food banks and other types of various mission work. It is a great opportunity to meet a physical need while earning the right to meet a spiritual need.

Mission: Wylie will bring the camp experience home to you! As we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus through various ministry outlets here locally, you will find countless opportunities to bond with your peers and grow as a part of Collide Student Ministry. During your camp time, you’ll stay at FBW and dive into God’s Word, worship alongside hundreds of students and make a difference in our own community! On the registration form, you’ll have the chance to rate your preferred ministry tract for this week. We’ll be hosting Backyard Bible Clubs, Sports Camps, constructions projects, social evangelism, and so much more!

This trip is for students in 7-12 grade, along with any parents or adults. While in NYC we will be partnering with our strategic ministry partners, assisting them in VBS, feeding centers, street evangelism, prayer stations, prayer walks, and some possible light construction. This trip is great for those who are mature enough in their faith to get slightly uncomfortable engaging others with the gospel. It includes long days, but is a great first time trip for almost anyone.

This trip is for 11-12 grade students, college students, and any adults. We will be partnering with 6:8 Ministries, assisting them in evangelism, feeding stations, children’s ministry, and construction. This trip is for those who are mature in their faith, do not mind hard work, and work well in uncomfortable situations. Past mission trip experience is highly recommended.
