Lloyd joined the staff of First Baptist Wylie in August of 2015. He a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast where he worked for 17 years for Dupont Chemical before surrendering to a call of full-time ministry in 2004. He has nearly 20 years of ministry experience serving churches in Mississippi, Alabama and now the great state of Texas. Lloyd married his high school sweetheart Stephania, they have two children Kayla and Brian.
When Lloyd and Stephania are not spending time with students they both enjoy hunting, boating, snow skiing and every kinds of sports. It is their desire to help students come to a saving knowledge of Christ, teach them what it looks like to walk with Him daily and model to them servant leadership.
Lloyd’s favorite passage of scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Lowden joined the FBW staff on October 31st, 2016. He was born and raised in Forney, Texas where he attended FBC Forney for 20 years. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University in May 2016 with a degree in Camp/Sports Leadership. Lowden is a sports fanatic and enjoys the outdoors. He loves youth and feels called by God to love others through sports and activities.
When he gets the chance, Lowden loves spending time with his fiancé, Grace Hall. He also likes Star Wars, the Dallas Cowboys, gaming with friends, videography, and hammocking.
Lowden's favorite passage in The Bible is Galatians 2:20 - "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
Hannah joined the staff of FBW in June of 2017. She is originally from south Georgia, but has lived in Florida and Alabama too. Hannah recently graduated from the Baptist College of Florida where she earned her degree in Christian Education and Leadership. While at the Baptist College of Florida she met her husband, Cody and they married in November of 2015. They have one puppy, Pippa the pug.
In their free time Hannah and Cody appreciate all things adventure. They like to kayak and hike, but will also do anything outside. Hannah enjoys playing golf and reading in her free time. Hannah’s passion is to see people come to know the Lord and to see them live a life that brings Him all the glory, honor, and praise.
Hannah’s favorite passage of scripture is Joshua 1:9. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Since retiring in June of 2016 from 30 years of being a public school teacher Myra joined our FBW staff in October of 2016. She was raised in a small East Texas town and graduated from East Texas Baptist University. She and her husband Mike have been married 31 years and have two daughters, Morgan and Micah. Myra and her family have been members of FBW since 1999.
Myra enjoys sewing and painting and taking on a challenge of all things crafty. She and her family love spending time at Disneyworld whenever they have a chance. She says, “When she grows up she wants to work at Disneyworld.” Myra’s spiritual gift is serving so working at Disney and serving go hand in hand.
Myra’s favorite scripture is Lamentations 3:22-23 which says, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed; for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness.”
Miles was born in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Wylie Texas when he was 1 year old. He has attended First Baptist Church in Wylie ever since, and joined their staff in August of 2013. He graduated high school from Wylie East, and is taking classes at Collin College.
He enjoys basketball, video games, technology, videography and photography. He likes to know about new technology that comes out and how it functions.
Miles' favorite bible verse is Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also the Gentile.”
